I've been buying this exact protein for 2 years from Hyugalife/Hyugalife, and I like it. Since the new packaging, the protein is no longer imported from the USA and is now manufactured in India. There are some clear differences I noticed after switching to the made in India product. Firstly, the powder is a lot finer than before, which should improve its solubility in water, but it now produces more bubbles after shaking. There is a thin layer of foam bubbles on top that doesn't go away as quickly as before, making drinking the foamy liquid not as pleasant. I didn't feel bloated immediately after, but it might affect others differently. Secondly, I don't see any reason why the price hasn't been reduced. Manufacturing and raw material costs in India are much lower compared to the USA, and the company is not paying any import duties anymore. Buying it at the same price (which has increased by about 20% in the last year) doesn't make sense. I've been an ON loyalist, but now I don't see a good reason to stick to it since the product might not be the same, and I'm still paying a premium price. I would try a different brand after finishing this 5lb box. I'd recommend buying a smaller quantity, even though it's more expensive if you're buying it for the first time after the packaging changed. May the gainz be with you!
